Jess is one of our veterinary technicians with several years of experience in the field. She started her path into veterinary field at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, intaking patients and triaging their care. She has always been drawn to the scientific side of the field and loves furthering her knowledge, especially in the area of diagnostics and laboratory work. Jess can often be found peering into a microscope even during her down time to perfect her skills. However, she also finds bonding with pet parents to be incredibly rewarding as well, and always makes a genuine effort to find something she can relate to with each person that steps through the door.
When Jess first came to West Park Animal Hospital, she was immediately inspired by the genuine care provided to each patient and the calming environment each pet is welcomed into. She takes great pride in continuing that tradition of making each pet feel as at home as possible during their appointment. When not working hard at her job, Jess can be found out scuba diving, rock climbing or spending time with her Shih Tzu, Benjamin, and her cat, Lillian, who Jess describes as her best friend and the love her life respectively.
